Welcome to another digital edition of the Greystone Sparks. We have found this format to be an improvement in many ways (it’s easier to navigate and share with friends), and it has the added benefit of being better on the environment. We hope you enjoy it and will find yourself more connected to your camp home!
The summer of 2021 was amazing. All sessions opened with a full group of campers and an enthusiastic group of counselors. We changed virtually every aspect of the summer (from drop-off to pick-up and everything in between) and found each moment to be wonderful in surprising ways.
We had a record number of campers re-enroll for this upcoming summer and are happy to say that all sessions are full and have waitlists. Some of the changes from this year will be kept for years to come as new favorites, but we look forward to the return of traditions we have missed (eating in the Dining Hall, mixing groups without a care, and once again choosing our own classes). We are praying that COVID will be less of a concern, and frankly, we can’t wait!
Thank you for supporting us every summer, no matter the circumstances. The pandemic will hopefully soon recede into our memories as a bad dream, but the memories of your generous support will continue to fill our hearts with love. When we think about the many ways camp has been abundantly blessed over the years, we always think of you with gratitude.
We hope you’ll enjoy this year’s Alumnae Sparks and, as always, if you find yourself near Tuxedo, please stop by to say hello. Your camp home is always waiting.
With love,
Jimboy
