4 Ways to Support Camp That Don’t Require Your Dollars
We may be a little bit biased, but we think we have the best alumnae base in the world! Even after all you’ve done for us in the past, you still want to support Greystone going forward. Hear us when we say that it’s humbling, and we don’t take it for granted!
You already know that donating to the Great Day Fund is a wonderful way to give the gift of camp to future Greystone Girls, but there are so many more ways you can support your summer home that don’t require a dime. Scroll through for a few ideas, but please know that you don’t need to do a thing for us - you are a part of our camp family, and knowing you is gift enough!
- Prayer: this is the biggest one, and the support that we most covet! Running camp safely, hiring our staff, and providing the Greystone experience you love to a new generation of girls is no easy feat, and we rely on the Lord in every part of it. We need prayer warriors all over the world lifting our campers, counselors, and Head Staff team up reguarly. Help us by praying for health and safety, for the right people to be drawn to camp, and for wisdom as we make every decision. There is no substitute for faithful prayer!
- Spread the word about camp: Word of mouth is still our most powerful recruiting tool, for both campers and staff! If you have people in your life who would love camp as much as you did, tell them about us, and share your own camp experience with them. We would be so grateful!
- Support Greystone online. There are so many different avenues for you to follow the work we do in this digital age, so pick and choose the ones that appeal to you. Check out all of the different ways you can connect with us online, and join us today! If you ever feel inclined, share our posts to your own page. We are also looking for alumnae to help guest-author on our Blog and contribute to our daily devotions. If you have an interest in either, let know!
