Council Fire Update

One year ago we unveiled an exciting plan to renovate our beloved Council Fire in memory of Libby. These plans also included recognizing a group of donors to the Great Day Fund during our centennial year with a bronze plaque at the new Council Fire entrance.

The construction was originally set to begin this fall, but of course, 2020 has not gone according to plan! While we are still planning a major renovation, the completed project will unfortunately not happen by summer 2021. We will go ahead and install the bronze plaque to honor our centennial sponsors from 2019 and look forward to completing the full renovation later. We are grateful to these donors and to all of our alums who support and encourage us in so many ways. We look forward to unveiling the plaque to our Alumnae community soon!

We are still committed to doing a full Council Fire renovation as soon as we are able, and we will keep you updated on the progress. We know you love this space as much as we do!
