Hey y’all! I’m Laura Grace or LG and I’m so excited to be back at Greystone for another fun filled summer! I’m a Freshman at Furman and I love to have knitting nights with friends, go on walks around our lake, or have an impromptu dance party with my besties. I’m so excited to be back in the bubble and be in such an intentional, loving community. Camp is the place I feel closest to God and I can’t wait to be back!

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31

A few things I love: A Chai with a shot of espresso, a good book, a genuine conversation with someone I love.

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Go on a lake walk and listen to an audiobook.

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I’m going to live in South Africa for a month.

The one thing that makes any day better: Getting a call from a camp friend!

Best camp tradition? I love closing vespers! It’s so intentional and moving.

Favorite Evening Program? I love all the plays! Seeing the girls succeed at something they have worked so hard on for such a short period of time is so cool!

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… Ham and apples! The kitchen’s biscuits are next level.

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: A watch! As a counselor it’s a necessity.

The song that describes me: To the Mountains by Lizzie McAlpine! The mountains are my happy place!

My favorite cheesy joke: What do you call an angry carrot? A steamed veggie!

At camp, I’ll be the one… Rolling down the pageant court and dancing in the rain!

Come find me if… You want a good book recommendation or an impromptu DMC

I wanted to work at Greystone because… It feels like a home and it is full of intentional friendships built on Christ.

The best thing about camp will be… Meeting new people! I love to see new faces at camp!
