10 years as a camper

1st year on staff

Hey yall!! I’m Emma and I’m currently a first-year at the University of Virginia. I’m excited to be at camp this summer because growing up, camp was a place where I made some of my best friends and was my happiest. In my free time you can catch me hanging out with friends, playing pickleball, reading all sorts of books, going on hikes, and trying new food spots. Cannot wait for the best summer yet!!

“In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:3

A few things I love: Lucy Lu (my dog), catching up with friends, a good book, my family, pickleball, and Camp of course!!!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Call a friend or read

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I was born in Hawaii

The one thing that makes any day better: A good conversation with a friend

Best camp tradition? Watersports Day

Favorite Evening Program? Sunday Concerts

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… greystone bread!!

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My tennis racket

The song that describes me: Home by Jack Johnson

Come find me if… you need to borrow a silly outfit or need a good book to read

I wanted to work at Greystone because… The relationships I have gained from greystone have been nothing short of impactful. As a camper, some of my favorite memories involved growing close with my amazing counselors, who were not only fun but also made themselves available whenever I wanted to

The best thing about camp will be… Being able to form new friendships that revolve around the Lord and growing together spiritually.
