Ann Weathers Blankenship

Sumter, SC

2 years as a camper

1st year on staff

Hey hey! I am Ann Weathers Blankenship, many know me as “Lulu”! I was born and raised in the Palmetto State! I couldn’t be more excited to be a counselor this summer, because of how much my counselors meant to me as a camper.

“Let all that you do be done in love,” 1 Corinthians 16:14

Things that I love: Country music, the ocean, singing, guitar, laughing, and sunrises.

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Try to learn how to play the piano

Best camp tradition? LUCKY CHARMS AFTER STUMBLERS

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: Water bottle

The one thing that makes any day better: My friends

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… BREAD AND HONEY

My favorite dad joke: Jimboy’s poor little dog story

My go-to pump up song: I Thank God

Favorite childhood book: Eloise

My lovey (favorite stuffed animal, blanket, etc.) growing up was a…. A stuffed rabbit named Rabby

I wanted to work at Junior Camp because… Greystone means so much to me, and has so much to do with who I am today. I can’t wait to see how these campers grow and thrive in the bubble!

The best thing about camp will be… The friendships!
