Dog Camp

1st year on staff

Hi friends! My name is Cheyanne Clark and I’m a sophomore at Mississippi State University. I’m beyond excited to be apart of the staff at Camp Greystone this summer because I’ve never worked a summer camp before and I’m so pumped to be able to grow in my faith & help others grow in theirs! I love Jesus with my whole heart and I’m so expectant for what He’s going to do in me and through me at camp!

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake…Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:1-3, 8

Personal Interests: Working out, going to coffee shops, hanging out with friends, driving around & listening to music

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Either sleep or watch Dance Moms

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: I am a huge introvert. I’m trying to break out of that shell a little bit through this camp!

The emoji that describes me: The blushy face with the hand over its mouth

The one thing that makes any day better: Spending time with the Lord. His presence reminds me that this is not my home and that I get to spend eternity with Him one day and that’s enough to make any bad day 10000x better.

The camp food I can’t wait to eat is… SMORES

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My squishmallow, Pamela. She goes everywhere with me.

My go-to pump up song: I Thank God by Maverick City Music or Starlight(Taylors Version) #swiftieforever

The best book I’ve read this year: It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way by Lysa TerKeurst

My guilty pleasure: eating ice cream when I know good and well i’m lactose intolerant

The most famous person I’ve met is… I don’t think I’ve met anyone famous. Unfortunate for me.

My favorite cheesy joke: People don’t believe that grass be wet in the morning…but it dew

I wanted to work at Greystone because… When I looked at the website, the whole camp just screamed Jesus. I love the community they build there and the importance they put on incorporating faith into everything they do.

The best thing about camp will be… Forming new relationships with people & getting to pour into others!
