About to Open June Camp!
It is hard to believe that June Camp opens on Monday. Just one week ago we opened our 105th summer with the CUTEST group of Junior Campers! They were amazing, the counselors were amazing, the kitchen was amazing, the program was amazing, the maintenance crew was amazing, the housekeeping was amazing… EVERYTHING was amazing! Every day was better than the day before, convincing us that this summer is going to be special.
If you are reading this, you are a leader of our camp. Campers who read this blog are the most enthusiastic campers we have. Your impact can not be overstated. Parents who read it are passionate about preparing your camper for success, obviously this effort will be fruitful in getting off to a good start. Alums who read it are typically our best cheerleaders and prayer partners. Prayer is, of course, the most important thing any of us can do to provide a great experience.
We appreciate each and every one of you and thank God for your interest and your support.
So let’s get going!
A few things to celebrate on this beautiful day:
- A GREAT Junior Camp! Such a good start makes us very settled and confident that we are prepared for the coming summer!
- A GREAT Staff! Our staff is amazing… of one mind and heart To delight and inspire for the glory of God. They chose to spend their summer working very hard for very little money just because they wanted to do something that mattered (they all understand the impact and benefits of camp for the girls). They are a remarkable group and have bonded into a tight-knit community that radiates positive energy. They are amazing! !
- While Junior Camp is fun, June Camp is MORE FUN. One week just is not long enough! Three weeks will feel like walking into a much-anticipated banquet feast… our eyes are big and we are smiling as we think of the days to come.
- Food… Gervais LOVES his new ovens (well worth their “Mercedes” price!).
