Challenge Day Wednesday May 29, 2024

By this point in Junior Camp, we are seeing these campers really start to thrive. Camp is an amazing experience. It builds resilience, confidence, social skills, and spiritual growth… and it’s also just plain fun! Both campers and counselors feel the impact when they are in this kind of encouraging, joy-filled community. You should hear them singing in the Dining Hall! They sound like they have been here for weeks. Make sure you ask them to sing for you when you pick them up from camp!

It is another beautiful day at camp. It is clear and crisp, warm but not hot - perfect camp weather!

Classes are going well; they are fun and engaging. Every day brings something new. At a longer session, the girls get to choose which activities they would like to take. Junior Camp introduces them to many of the things we offer at camp and will help them as they make their future class decisions!

Today is Challenge Day! At Junior Camp, the day is a regular class day, and our competition will take place at Evening Program tonight. The girls have fun and focus on positive team spirit. There will be a rotation of stations that will include fun games and human foosball.

Breakfast: Fruit Bar, Cereal, Sausage patties, the BEST Homemade Biscuits!!

Lunch: Cheesy Chicken & pasta, Roasted Broccoli, Salad Bar, Homemade Bread

Dinner: Greystone Pizzas, Salad Bar

Dessert tonight will be s’mores which will be part of our Challenge Day Evening Program.
