Greystone was founded in 1920 with a singular purpose: to glorify God by providing an excellent, inspirational experience for girls. 105 years later, that mission still stands. We want everything about camp to be rooted in the love of Christ, striving for excellence in all things to point to His beauty and abundance.
This Christ-centeredness impacts everything we do, each program we run, each staff member we hire, and each decision we make. The Greystone “Bubble” just feels different than the “real world,” not because it’s perfect, but because God sees fit to bless this place and the people in it.
His presence is felt in the kindness of a friend and in the way the Honor Code is lived out day by day. We see Him work in Morning Assembly dances, devotions from our camp ministers, and all the times we go to Him in prayer every day. We see His love in conversations with our counselors, walks along the lake, and DMCs with friends where we feel seen and known. In everything we do, the fun and silly and meaningful and quiet, we want to acknowledge Him.
We see it as a privilege to get to participate in His work here at Greystone. May it all be for His glory!
