We LOVE our dog camp dogs, and last summer was no exception! Our 100th year was crowned with 6 of the fluffiest, sweetest, most mild-mannered Golden Doodles of yet. Named after the “greats” of Greystone (Jimdog, Libby, GiGi, JoJo, Pebbles, and Hannah), these puppies stole our hearts. Check out where they are now!

Camp Name: Dr. Joseph Sevier aka JoJo

Name now: Pete

Weight: 70 lbs

Favorite things to do: Go to the dog park to make new dog and human friends; Fetch tennis balls; Go for long walks and hikes; Watch college football and basketball games

Favorite treat: Peanut Butter

Favorite way to cause mischief: Roll around in mud and then jump on the couch and bed; Eat cow patties; Chews on socks and shoes.

Any new tricks? He sits really well. We’re working on getting him to shake/high five.

Camp Name: Jim Dog

Name now: Bo

Weight: 55 lbs

Favorite things to do: he loves to play tug of war with rope toy

Favorite treat: anything, but loves Kong toy with treat inside

Favorite way to cause mischief: Loves to steal kitchen towel off the counter

Any new tricks? He is getting really good at retrieving

Camp Name: Libby

Name now: Libby… Sydney, our greystone girl, loved her name and didn’t want to change it ;)

Weight: about 75 lbs and growing!!!

Favorite things to do: play outside and with her furry sister Ellie, chew a bone, look out the window and bark at the neighbors cats and lay by the fire

Favorite treat: cheese its crackers, she recognizes the box as soon as its out ;) ha!

Favorite way to cause mischief: loves to dig in the mud and chews on my rugs! yikes!

Any new tricks? mainly just snuggling on the bed or sofa with anyone!

Camp Name: GiGi

Name now: GiGi

Weight: 41 pounds

Favorite things to do: play with doggie friends and snuggling with her family

Favorite treat: ice

Favorite way to cause mischief: chewing antique oriental rugs

Any new tricks? Her doggie brother lets her out of her crate so that she can chew things

Camp Name: Pebbles. Or sometimes Pepples, depending on who was texting us about her (I’m looking at you, Laura Hollowell.)

Name now: Sunny, like a ray of sunshine! But her name is also a joke/pun - since Jared only has girls, this is as close as he’s going to get to calling anyone “sonny”

Weight: 55lbs at last vet visit (November)

Favorite things to do: CHEW ON THINGS. Her toys, her deer antler, her stuffed animals but also our furniture, carpets, toys/stuffed animals, two garden hoses, every stick in the world and most recently: the cord of the vacuum cleaner. Also loves playing fetch, sleeping curled up on our feet, walks in the woods, exuberant greetings when we walk into the house and sneaking treats off the kitchen counter ;)

Favorite treat: An off-leash walk on the Cottonwood Trail with the whole family or having a sleepover down the street with Gervais, Laura and Tillie when we go out of town.

Any new tricks? Her newest trick is “joining the conversation” - she’ll sit close and talk (a funny bark/growl/whine combo) while others are talking, like she’s helping make a decision or telling part of the story! She’s a real character :)

Favorite things to do: Loves playing with her brother Tuck and loves to ride in the car sitting straight up and rest her head on the head rest while looking out the window…. like a human!!! Loves to be groomed :)
