Advent Reading Plan: Greystone Edition

We LOVE the Christmas season at Greystone, and we are excited to share with you our Advent Christmas reading plan for this year. While the decorating and baking and presents sure are fun, it’s important to take some time to really focus on the TRUE meaning of the season: Jesus’ birth!

This year, we’ve adapted Sally Lloyd Jones’ Advent reading plan (she’s the author of the Jesus Storybook Bible that we love so much at camp!), and each day we have a scripture and a story from the Jesus Storybook Bible to read as you countdown the days until Christmas. No matter your age, we think the Jesus Storybook Bible is excellent - many adults enjoy reading the stories. She does an excellent job of connecting each story in the Bible to Jesus; it’s a great read for this season. (If you don’t own the Jesus Storybook Bible yet, we can’t recommend it highly enough!)
