5 Ways to Use Your Trunk after Camp

There’s nothing more quintessentially “camp” than your trunk - just the sight of it gets those Opening Day butterflies going! And don’t even get us started on the stickers.

But what do you do with that big old thing once the costumes have been put away and fall has come around? We’re here to show you that it doesn’t have to live in your garage - you can use that camp trunk all year ’round. And it just might bring back Greystone memories every time you see it!

  1. Put it at the end of your bed. We’ll start with the most obvious - use it for storage in your room! It’s the perfect size for keeping extra blankets for sleepovers.
  2. Use it as extra seating. No couch? No problem! Keep it in your room for when friends come over - it’ll bring back all those memories of shaving parties on your cabin porch.
  3. Need a bedside table?. It just might be the perfect height to keep a lamp and your favorite books on. Plus, it adds so much character with all those stickers - definitely a conversation piece.
  4. Step stool, anyone? Need a lift to reach the top of your closet? Or to boost you into bed at night? Look no further, that sturdy trunk will have you reaching new heights.
  5. Use it as a camp memory box. Keep all your camp pictures, awards, and crafts safely in your trunk so that you can flip through it whenever you’re feeling camp sick.
