3 Years as a Camper

5th Year on Staff

I am very excited to be back to Greystone for its 100 birthday! My first year as a camper was in 1978, the summer I turned eleven. I had lived in Mexico City since I was born, and my parents sent me to Greystone so I could learn English. I love it so much that I keep coming back! Not only did I learn the language, but I discovered an indescribable spirituality that only a Greystone girl can understand.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet he shall live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” John 11:25–26

Personal Interests: Knitting, reading, drawing and swimming!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Ride my bicycle

Best camp tradition? Vespers

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My pillow

Three words to describe yourself: Loyal, compassionate and giver.

If my life could have a theme song, it would be… Je Ne Regrette rien.

Favorite childhood book: The Little Prince

The best thing about camp will be… Watching the joy and energy of our girls!
