Thank You

On opening day we started our opening assembly with a line of counselors cheering the campers into the Pavilion. The girls could hear the cheers of the enthusiastic counselors as they walked down the hill and as they saw the reception that awaited them they would break into big smiles and run through the line. We duplicated that moment last night as the campers entered the Dining Hall for our big banquet.

It is a wonderful moment. A moment of delight, affirmation, and accomplishment; one of many that we hope the girls will remember when they leave camp.

June Camp is now over, marking a major accomplishment for all. Campers and counselors alike know that they have been a part of something special. We formed an almost perfect community for a brief period of time. I am humbled by the opportunity you provided by sending your girls. Thank You.

The June Campers were particularly sweet and happy this year. I think our theme of Joy (In your presence there is fullness of Joy) had an impact. Campers and counselors alike were impacted in a way that was obvious to even casual visitors who came for tours during the session.

Thank You for allowing us to be a part of your family. Thank you for supporting our camp.
