I started going to Greystone for 6 weeks each summer when I was 8 years old and from them on camp has always been a huge part of my life. I was a counselor during college and my husband and I also got married on the Pagent Court 11 years ago. I live in Greenville, SC with my husband and daughter, Izzie, who will be part of the fun bunch this year and an August Camper. This will be her 3rd summer at Greystone and I love seeing camp through her eyes! In my “non-camp” life, I’m a corporate event planner for a global technology distributor, so I’m always on the go! I love coming back to camp in the summers because I feel like I’m coming home! It truly is heaven on earth!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… crawl in my bed and just defunk. My “non-camp” job as an Corporate Event Planner keeps me constantly hopping so I love to just hibernate in my bed!
Best camp tradition? Carnival is my favorite, but I love all the traditions of Greystone! Thats what makes Greystone so special!!!
Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: My duck boots (I still have the same pair from when I was camper) and my sesame street pillow, which is like my blankie that I can’t sleep without. :-)
Last book I read: The Hidden Life: Awakened by Cathy Snapp who was a counselor when I was a camper
Three words to describe yourself: Hard working, crisis manager, and very quirky
Hidden talent? Sleeping in my clothes at camp and on top of my bed so I don’t have to get dressed or make my bed the next day! haha!
If my life could have a theme song, it would be… Shake it Off–I’ve learned in my job and in life, that I need to flexible and go with the flow and be able to shake things off with all that is thrown at me
The best thing about camp will be… The friends and memories you make. It’s also an amazing thing to be a part of a young girls life and to be a part of her journey with Christ. It’s amazing the impact counselors have on their campers as they grow in Christ.
