This time of year is all about gratitude, and out of all the things we’re grateful for, the thing that keeps coming up the most? Our campers!

You have made us laugh, asked us questions, and gotten into our hearts this year, and camp would not be what it is without you! Without further ado, in no particular order, here are just a few of the reasons we think you’re the best.

1. You keep us young. How would we know what’s cool without you?
2. You love each other so well. The way you love and support your camp friends inspires us! Reunions please.
3. You teach us things. Acronyms? Check. The best route to take in the Bunk Run? Check. You know all the tricks!
4. You make camp fun. Greystone is just a pretty place without you! You bring the energy, the life, and the fun to this miracle in the mountains.
5. You have the best style. From Miley Buns to Corn Roast Corn Shirts, we take our fashion advice from YOU.
6. You are just plain cool.
7. You are crazy talented. And it doesn’t just come out at Talent Shows. From dance parties at night, to passing levels in classes, you leave us starstruck daily.
8. You make us laugh. Jimboy’s jokes have nothing on yours. We could listen to your stories all day!
9. You go along with our crazy ideas. Stick a huge, dead fish down your shirt to earn points for your team? Didn’t faze you! We spend all year brainstorming new, fun things to keep you on your toes - you inspire us!
10. You play in the rain. You know what they say - laugh at the rain and outlast the sun.
11. You talk about camp as much as we do. Your friends at home are probably as sick as you talking about camp as ours are, but what can we say? We talk about what we love!

13. You are unselfish. You secret of Greystone isn’t a secret with you - it’s your secret all year long!
14. You’re not afraid to be silly. One look in your costume box will show us that!
15. You cheer on your counselors. They automatically become the coolest people in the world, just because they’re yours. The love between a camper and counselor is unlike anything else!
16. You’re Jimball champions. All that time in the pit has paid off, no one can challenge you.
