The countdown is officially on for Saturday, aka the first Opening Day of the summer!! Our staff’s orientation began on Tuesday, and the Head Staff has been amazed by the team God put together for Junior Camp 2017. As eager as they have been to get to camp, they are more eager for the campers to arrive. Here’s a peak into what our past two days have looked like!

Move-in Time

Murray and Smith, our no-trash expert, chauffered the counselors and their trunks to the cabins.

Introductions

Every meeting we go through introductions and have learned that our staff come from all over the country, have some weird talents (one staffer won a Hamilton-rapping contest,) and are all around fantastic!

Tetherball!

It doesn’t matter that it’s raining–there’s always a game of tetherball being played.

The Health Talk

Dr. Margaret gave her health talk to the counselors to ensure your daughters are cared for in every possible manner. Want to know the secret to a healthy camper? Lots of water, sunscreen, hand-washing, and love from the counselors!

As we now only have two days until YOU arrive, we are busy busy setting up program areas, cleaning cabins, putting numbers on the tables in the dining hall, stocking ice huts, maintaining the green grass, and praying for the campers and their families. You are the reason this staff is at Greystone, and they feel incomplete until the cabins are full of campers!
