8 Years as a Camper

5 Years on Staff

I was a main camp camper from 87-94 and was on staff from 95-97. We also got married at Greystone (10 years this May!) and now my 8 year old daughter is a 2nd year Jr. Camp camper! Greystone is the absolute best- it has taught me so many wonderful things and I’m just so excited to be back on staff and see Greystone through our daughter’s eyes and the eyes of so many little girls experiencing camp for the first time!

Personal Interests: I used to be a big tennis player, but have little time now as a working mom. I love to spend time with my family, travel and stop by camp for a weekend visit!

When I have an hour of free time, I like to… Enjoy my R&R and sometimes just veg out!

Best camp tradition? Closing Vestpers is a favorite and I loved QLB

Favorite Evening Program? Counselor Talent Show and the Corn Roast (of old) love carnival too!

Sing? Dance? Or both? Neither! I’m a wall flower/behind the scenes type of girl!

Item that I MUST bring to Camp with me: What I call my “sesame street” pillow… it’s like my blankie and is an old pillow I can’t sleep without. Oh - and my duck boots!!!!

Something you wouldn’t guess about me: That my coworkers keep a list of things of Kim’s disklikes/quirks… its currently 77 items long

Last book I read: Infinity More- it’s a book on Russian Adoption

Three words to describe yourself: quirky, advice giver, big hearted

Hidden talent? Cant think of any- I’m so boring

If my life could have a theme song, it would be…. Shake it Off - only because I have to be VERY adaptable in my real life job

The best thing about camp will be… All the fun everyone has! I also love how close i feel to god when I’m there… He’s just everywhere and in everything and its just such an amazing, peaceful and calming feeling.
