Wonderful Wednesday at Junior Camp

We have had a wonderful Wednesday so far! Sunny skies this morning, and have just gotten a nice shower during Rest Hour. We will soon be getting ready for our afternoon classes of fun!!

Breakfast was Fruit/Oatmeal Bar, Waffles, and Sausage Patties, Lunch was Salad Bar, Cheese Ravioli, Homemade Bread, Peas & Carrots, AppleSauce, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. Dinner will be Hamburgers, Tater Tots, Baked Beans, Salad Bar and a dessert! All of our homemade food is delicious….we are proud of the great job our kitchen does!

Evening program tonight is Cabin Lip Sync. Each cabin group will get some time on the stage to shine. The girls are so excited!

Believe it or not, tomorrow is our last day of camp. It seems like just yesterday we started camp, and yet tomorrow, at rest hour, we will pack up. This is our routine for Closing Day, for those of you who might be new. Pick up will start at 7:30 am. Most all of the campers will be checked out by 9:30 am. If you think you will be later than that, please call and let us know so that we can inform the camper and her counselor about a later arrival. All heavy baggage from the cabin will be delivered to the Soccer Field where you parked on opening day. If you are picking up a child, and are flying home, make sure to pack an extra bag for packing the loose items as you will need it for the plane.

You may go to the cabin to pick up your camper after you park. She will have eaten a picnic breakfast in her cabin, and will be delighted to see you! Don’t forget the laundry bag…it came empty, but it will be FULL when you pick your camper up! That means that when you pick up your bags on the Soccer Field, you will most likely have 1 more bag than you sent up to the cabin on opening day….check the tags and you will know how many bags you have waiting for you!
