Junior Camp Banquet Day

Camper Lip Sync was grand last night….the girls got to shine on stage with their cabins! It was such a fun time.

This morning was mild and overcast. Our final classes were such fun! We expect rain this afternoon, but since this is our packing day and Banquet is tonight, it will not affect our schedule at all. Our Banquet is a very special time of closure with the girls. It is a HUGE secret. The counselors put on a great skit to introduce it, we decorate the Dining Hall, we have a feast, and party favors! They will also receive a “Green & Gold” book which has all of the addresses of the girls and staff in camp. I know that they will want to write their new camp friends when they get home!

This summer the girls have been working on our Theme Verse for the summer…. Galatians 5: 22 & 23. vs. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (ESV) In our morning assemblies, and cabin devotions, we have been focusing on these character qualities, and are hoping that when your campers come home, you will see lots of growth in some of these areas.

Earlybird is something that we offer to campers who attend a session at Greystone this summer. Your camper will have the opportunity to Earlybird at the end of the summer starting August 12 - August 26. If you don’t wait until that date, and try to enroll your daughter before those dates, you will automatically go to the wait list. We will send e-mail reminders and letters to explain the process after this session and throughout the summer.

Remember that pick up starts no earlier than 7:30 am. If you will be later than 9:30 am, then please call the camp office to let us know so that we can inform your camper.
