Happy Tuesday at Junior Camp

With the second day of classes under our belt, the girls are settling in and getting the routine! We are having fun in classes….many trying new things for the first time. The girls are SO cute as they walk around camp with their back packs packed for their activities of the day. We had a sunny warm morning…it was perfect!

Carnival was a HUGE success last night! The girls all wore their green carnival shirts to flag, and we played all evening long. I am sure that you can see the fun they were having in the pictures that were taken last night….pure JOY!!

We dismissed to get ready for bed just in time for rain….there is nothing like sleeping in a tentalow with the rain on the roof (puts you right to sleep)! We will, over the rest of the week, have occasional afternoon thunderstorms, which is very common for this area. They usually arrive at rest hour, cool us down and are gone by class time.

Breakfast this morning was the usual Fruit Bar, Oatmeal, Cereal…as well as Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, and Home Fried Potatoes. For lunch we will have Poppy Seed Chicken, Roasted Green Beans, Salad Bar, Homemade Bread, and Homemade Cranberry Cookies. Dinner will be Salad Bar, Applesauce, Homemade PIZZA and Rice Krispie Treats! If you have not already done so, check out our Greystone Video on how we make our pizza’s at camp! It is WONDERFUL!

Counselor Talent Show is on the Evening Program list for tonight. This is always a favorite program as the staff entertain the campers….and tomorrow night, the campers will be on the stage for Camper Lip Sync!
