Cowgirl Up at Apple Hill Barn
New adventures and fun Western experiences are coming to the Apple Hill Barn! If you have ever wanted to see what it would be like to be a real cowgirl, now is your chance! Out West on the real ranches, there is lots of work to be done and lots of trails to be ridden.
Apple Hill provides a little slice of heaven for all the true cowgirls out there. We will teach you all the basics of what it is to be a cowgirl and show you how fun it is to get out there and ride the beautiful trails that Greystone has to offer!
We will be offering unique experiences to all levels of riders with the emphasis on gaining more independence and learning true horsemanship skills. The Apple Hill barn allows you to experience the fun of what it would be like to own your own horse. The campers now have the opportunity to have a horse to groom, ride, bathe, love, and enjoy out on the trail. We also offer shorter Apple Hill rides for girls who just want a taste of the scenic life on the trail with a horse. So, you decide and choose which apple hill adventure you would like to do this summer!

Meet Heidi Waldbart! She is a local who fell in love with the ranch life out West. She worked as a wrangler at several ranches out in Colorado and Arizona for the past few years! Her love for the Wild West and wrangling cattle is constant but her passion for showing others what freedom one has when being able to explore as a true cowgirl has called her back home for a bit.
Western Adventure Trail Ride Experience: Spend an entire morning with your friends getting to know all the Apple Hill horses. You will have your own horse to groom, bathe, ride, love, and enjoy all morning along with all the amazing staff!
Western Apple Hill Trail Ride: Spend a period in the afternoon enjoying a scenic, leisurely trail ride at Apple Hill with our wonderful Apple Hill horses. This option is great for the camper that wants to fit a trail ride into their regular camp schedule.
