On Thursday afternoon we officially closed the office for the weekend… Winterstorm Jonas was on the way and the forecast was not pretty! It is rare that we get more than 6 inches of snow and this storm looked to give about twice that amount. It proved to be a record breaking snow event for this area. Camp is blanketed by a solid foot of snow and the 50 mph winds are blowing that snow around in ways that are astounding to see. It is beautiful and will not last (temperatures are forecast to rise to the 50’s next week) so we will enjoy it while we have it!
The dogs are loving it, but the horses are not so sure.
Stay warm everybody and go sledding if you get the chance!
