Second Sunday

Going to be a quick update today, my Sundays are VERY busy!

Awoke to cloudy skies again, cool temperatures again, a wet driveway (rained again last night), and the promise of a beautiful day. The weather has been perfect and it appears to be in a pattern that will hold for another week! God is Good!

The carnival was a blast. The light rain that fell while we played did not dampen our spirits (the girls LOVE dancing in mud) but it did make the fireworks display more difficult to pull off. The fuses did not light very easiily in the damp conditions, but we figured it out nonetheless. I was told it was a Great Show!

Cleaning up took a very long time. We finished cleaning by arriving to stumblers an hour early to shovel, sweep and blow the track. By the time the girls arrived it was almost perfect. The men staff is doing a great job working behind the scenes to make everything as good as it can be. They really excelled last night!

Church, long rest hour, free time afternoon, then an evening concert (by the lake if weather permits). It is a great day!
