We hope you will spend a lot of time browsing through our photos this summer, especially while your daughter is here at camp. Our new photo system takes a little getting used to, but we hope you will enjoy the change…and especially those free downloads!
To view our photos this year, don’t forget that you will need the password that we e-mailed to you. You’ll enter this after clicking on the session folder (i.e. Junior Camp).
Here are some tips to make viewing our massive amount of photos even easier:
• Make sure you set up a personal account in our photo system. You will still have to enter the password we e-mailed you to view the photos, but your personal account will store all of your Favorites, so you can view them no matter what computer you are on. (If you do not set up a personal account, your Favorited photos will not be permanently saved.)
• When we upload new photos into a particular folder (i.e. Morning Activities 5/23), that folder moves to be the very first folder. You’ll know when new pictures are uploaded if you see that folder move to the front.
• When you’re looking at all of the photos in a folder, we recommend using the Select Photos button at the top of each page of photos. You can then select multiple photos you think look interesting, or ones where you think you see your daughter. Once you’ve selected them, scroll to the top, and you can move all of your photos into your Favorites at one time by clicking “Add to Favorites.”
• To Download photos for free, you can download many at one time by visiting your Favorites folder – after you have added many photos to your Favorites, you can Download many at one time from that folder. You can also download pictures individually…when you are looking at the page of photos, click on a photo you would like to download. This will enlarge the photo; when enlarged, a Menu button appears in the top left corner – one of the options is Download.
We have some wonderful photographers who spend many class periods taking photos each day. Over the course of the summer, this allows us to get a wide variety of photos. If you don’t see a picture of your daughter everyday (or even every few days), don’t worry! Please e-mail her to encourage her to jump in front of the camera.
We have gotten a few questions about photos from previous summers. They are still in the old system (accessed through your Greystone account) – you can still view and purchase photos from previous summers.
We hope you’ll love the way this new system looks and works. The “free downloads suggestion” has been mentioned for many years, and we are so glad to finally offer this to our camp families.
Happy photo browsing!
