We're Ready For You!

Well, the countdown to camp is getting very, very close. Hard to believe we start Junior and June camp in just over a month – wow! There is so much going on at camp right now, it is hard to even know where to start. Here are just a few of the things getting us excited:

1.The final steps in the staff hiring process are happening right now, meaning we’ve got the GREATEST 2014 staff. Have you checked out who all is working this summer?
2.Remember when Jimboy mentioned the War Canoes earlier this year? Well, they are awesome, and a really cool War Canoe covered shed is going in right now – can’t wait for you to see photos.
3.The Summer Sparks is being printed as I type this! Check your mailboxes soon.
4.Remember the Dance Tent we told you about in our Infographic? Well, the flooring and sound system are getting installed – we have some really cool things planned for this area.
5.Puppies, puppies, and more puppies – dog camp is going to be awesome! Did you give your opinion on what kind of dogs we should get this summer?
6.Speaking of animals, the chickens are growing, and the rabbit hatch is going in right now. You’re going to want to try out this new class….stay tuned.
7.Dining Hall – getting cleaned up and ready for the summer. Who is ready for some homemade bread?
8.Trees and mulch are everywhere – you’ll love all the new trees put in at camp, and the mulch makes it smell like summer around here.
9.Waterpark equipment will be put in the lake any day – do you know how to attach the blob to the bottom of the lake? It is a fun thing to watch.
10. Boxes, boxes and more boxes – that is the theme right now. We have t-shirts, stickers, giveaways, Greystone Store merchandise, activity equipment, staff prizes, and more….all coming in by the truckload.
