Having to leave Greystone on Closing Day is extremely difficult for me. All year long I count down the days until I can run up the pageant court and reunite with friends I haven’t seen in a year. Life at camp is joyful and the time flies by.
In the short weeks that we spend at camp, we are reminded of God’s great love for us and are taught how to fully serve Him and love Him. Taking what we have learned from camp home with us is key. Be a light and show the world outside of Greystone the great love and joy that comes from Christ. The sermons given at camp are always relevant to what is happening at that moment in your life. Take the time to listen to the sermons from this past summer and remind yourself how blessed you are to be a part of Greystone.
Sometimes when life becomes challenging you wish you could just return to camp and everything would become whole again. Remember during these times God is right there with you and most likely a few Greystone girls are too!
