We have been horseback riding at Greystone for a very long time. I love looking through our archive photos and seeing all of the different riding photos throughout the decades. No matter the decade, you are sure to find shots of Greystone girls riding. I love that we have programs and traditions, like riding, that continue to be popular activities over the course of Greystone’s history – almost 100 years!
During the winter, we have a small barn staff that love and take care of our horses until the campers return. One of our year-round barn girls Sarah McEachern not only loves horses, but is quite the artist as well. She created the cutest picture book about the horses exploring the different activity areas at camp. Click on the links below to read the story.
If you’ve never taken riding at camp, you’ll surely want to try it this summer. Join the decades of Greystone girls who have learned to ride at the Greystone barn. You can meet all of our horses before you even arrive at camp!
