I love so many of these counselor photos that were sent in for the photo contest! Our counselors see each other all the time – at college football games, when Kelly rolls into town, on Christmas vacation, and more. Some of my favorite photos are from the 2 trips overseas.
Morgan sent me these great pictures of some Greystone girls in South Africa! Last summer, Meg, Shelby, Amy-Morgan, Sadie, Alden, and Morgan studied in Cape Town through a program called Global Lead, where the girls mentored children and painted a mural on their school wall. Morgan said, “At first glance one might think they were so poor, living in shacks with dirty clothes, but really they had and abundance of what matters – love, family, trust, laughter.” Isn’t that so true! They also did some really cool stuff like the world’s highest bungee jump and cage dove with great white sharks. I guess if you can’t be at Greystone, this is a pretty close second!
Eleanor also sent me some great pictures from last summer when she and Reed worked at Teamwork City of Hope in Ntagatcha, Tanzania. They worked with orphanage kids and were able to go on a safari in the Serengeti National Park – how cool! Can’t wait to have both Eleanor and Reed on staff this summer!
Thanks to all of the staff for their great photos.
