We (Margaret, me, and all 5 of our children) just returned from San Diego where we celebrated the wedding of Ellen Anne Harboe and James Skelton. Ellen Anne grew up at camp, her mother Lell runs the Greystone Store and is “Director of Services”… needless to say, this was like family!
James and Ellen Anne met at Pepperdine University, but their relationship grew into love while both were on staff at Greystone!
Catherine was a bridesmaid, I gave a short talk and read I Corinthians 13 (the Love chapter). It was a very rainy weekend (not what we expected), it was a very cold weekend (also not what we expected). It was TONS OF FUN (exactly what we expected).
The Harboe and Skelton families love to talk, love to dance, and love to stay up late! It was hard to keep up with them all weekend long, but the Millers did pretty well. Catherine and Caroline stayed up for the entire reception, watching Ellen Anne and James ride away on their bicycles with tin cans tied behind at one-o’clock in the morning. Ellen Anne riding a bike in her wedding dress was quite exciting!
Congratulations Ellen Anne and James, we can’t wait to see you again!
