The Putt Cove Marina continues to get better and better. Today the new gates arrived!
Patrick Pussateri (a wonderful local craftsman) has been working on these gates for about 6 weeks and is installing them this week. The process started about two years ago with the design approved before the rock posts were built. The gates are built out of thick steel, are very heavy, are built to last for hundreds of years… but most of all, they are beautiful.
Patrick has an artists eye. He took the theme of the marina and the shape of the sails and is tieing in details that he has used in other places around the complex. The next time you are at Putt Cove, you will want to take some time to really look at the gates. They are beautiful!
Here are some pictures of the “walk thru” gate. The car gate will be installed tomorrow (weather willing).
Also note the leaves! Literally millions of leaves are falling off the trees. Most are on the ground now, so the clean up begins. It is kind of fun to make giant piles of leaves and jump in them… try it this week if you can.
