Staff keep coming in!

I was looking through some old pictures and love these staff pictures!

The staff has started coming in….it is so exciting! Last night, our first 2 full-summer counselors arrived, and we had a 3rd arrive this morning. They are gearing up today for WSI training (an important swimming certification) – it is just great. Throughout the rest of this week, different groups of staff will arrive, with our entire staff here by next Tuesday. We can’t wait!

Junior camp starts on Monday! Katie Miller Grant and Smith are hard at work with the last details, as they eagerly await the arrival of the Junior staff. They will begin orientation on Friday – it will be great!

Camp looks SO GOOD! The kitchen is amazing. The kitchen counselors all arrived yesterday to begin the big clean of the kitchen. They are also having to re-learn where to put everything since the layout has changed so much. I can’t wait to smell fresh bread cooking from the bakery – isn’t it glorious?

The barn staff has all arrived and are learning the ins and outs of the barn. With 70 horses to take care of, the barn staff has a big job ahead of them. I am sure they are already planning for the Main Camp Derby and Horseshow!

With the arrival of the staff, camp is really gearing up – you can just feel the excitement. We are ready for the campers to arrive. Camp will be here before you know it!
