Kitchen Renovation Mess

The Kitchen renovation is quite a thing to see.

This is the kind of camp project that gets done once in a lifetime… in this case once in three lifetimes! My Great Grandfather built the kitchen and it has remained pretty much the same ever since. Even though you don’t see the kitchen very much, it is the heart of the camp. The better the kitchen works, the better the food will be (and we all know how much that means). Cool Fact… we are getting rid of the deep fat fryers and replacing them with really fancy ovens that “fry” without oil! This is a very high tech oven that is built in Germany. It will allow us to do lots of menu’s that were impossible to do before. It even washes itself out every day (always spotless and ready for action).
