Camp Greystone is accredited by the American Camp Association.
At the end of each camping session, the campers are given the opportunity to sign up for the next summer. We call this "early bird enrollment" and about 95% of our campers take this opportunity to reserve a place for next summer.
This policy is much appreciated by parents and campers alike, ensuring current campers get first place in line for the next summer. You might want to discuss this with your daughter before camp, letting her know your wishes concerning the early bird enrollment.
All deposits are fully refundable until December 31, making this a no risk decision for all.
About two weeks after your session ends, a final statement is mailed to you. Enclosed in this mailing is a signature card, marked with the session your daughter chose for next year. Simply return within two weeks with a $600 deposit and we will reserve your daughter's place. These spots are not guaranteed until we receive your deposit.
One Exception
Traditionally, a camper could sign up for any session and be guaranteed a place in that session (provided parents confirm that with a deposit within the given deadlines). This remains true with the exception of August Camp. Only girls who are currently enrolled in August Camp are guaranteed re-enrollment in August Camp for the following year. Any camper requesting early bird enrollment for August Camp from any other session will be placed on a waiting list.
A Few Helpful Reminders
Please Do
- Return your early bird signature card with a deposit as soon as you get it in the mail.
- Enclose your $600 deposit with your signature card.
- Think about next summer this summer, planning ahead is essential.
- Communicate with us if you have any questions… the early bird card is sent to you with your final statement about 2 weeks after your session is over. There is plenty of time to let us know if you have any questions.
- Communicate with us if you did not get a closing camp statement within a month of closing day of your camper’s session.
Please Don’t
- Procrastinate… You only have two weeks to return the card (these dates are strictly enforced)
- Assume, just because your daughter told us, that we will hold her place… we need to hear from you to officially reserve a place.
