Online Class Signups Now Open!

If you are coming to Junior, June, or August Camp you will sign up for your classes BEFORE you come to camp. In fact, you can sign up NOW!!!

Campers used to sign up for classes on Opening Day, and while that process was always exciting it was also stressful for some girls. We always want to make camp better, so this year campers in all of our shorter sessions will sign up for classes before camp begins. We do not offer this service to the Main Campers at this time but hope to do so in the future (Main Camp’s program is more complicated to schedule and not as well suited to the online process).

All campers (except Main) will pick their classes for the summer now (you can make changes until May 1st). Simply pick the classes that you want to take and we will take care of the rest. There are 7 classes per day at August Camp and 6 classes per day at Junior – you will take the same classes every day. June Camp you will take one group of classes M-W-F and another group of classes T-TH-S (14 classes in all). A few classes require two class periods, we make that clear on the scheduling form.

A few questions that some of you might have:

Do I still get to choose my classes? Yes! The only difference with the new system and the old is that you are choosing them before you get to camp!

Why the change? We want to make Opening Day as fun as possible! By choosing your classes before camp starts, this allows you to get to the good stuff faster and not have to worry about the logistics of signing up on Opening Day!

Can I still adjust my schedule? Yes! We will have a schedule changing station in the afternoon of opening day for any switches.

How many classes do I choose? If you are a June Camper, you will choose 14 classes, if you are an August camper you will choose 7 classes and if you are a Junior Camper you will choose 6 classes.

Can I change classes so I can be with my friends? Of course! The way for you to take a class with a friend would be to head over to the schedule changing station on opening day so that you can coordinate what you would like to take together! Remember, at Greystone we encourage you to make new friends…and meeting new people is half of the fun!

If I am taking riding, do I need to choose it as a class? No!!l Simply register for it on our Extra Fee Activities Form and we take care of the rest.

When will I get my class schedule? After swim checks and cabin pictures on Opening Day, your counselor will give you your class schedule!

Are there any classes that have age restrictions or specifications? Yes, for example younger campers cannot take Cake Decorating, but they can take Cooking. Older campers cannot take Glass Fusion but they can take Glass Beads. All of our age parameters are specified on our activities signup form.

Do I have to take Swimming? Swimming is a mandatory activity for girls currently in grades 1-4 unless your parents send an email notification to Ellen-Anne (our Program Director) email ea@campgreystone.com. The exception to this is Junior Camp where we do not offer swim lessons.

Where can I read about our activities? On our forms sign up form and on our website! The website has great pictures and fun videos of the activities too!
