Chicago with Kelly and Sarah!
Issue 58, Vol. 06

I get asked all the time...what do you do when camp is not going on? Are you bored? Do you stare at the walls? Do you sleep in everyday? Do you swim in the lake all year round? Do you have morning assembly alone? Do you try to sing camp songs by the Council Fire with no one to hear you? (if you asked the last one, you would know that would be the only time you could hear me singing a solo - when no one is around - I have many talents & singing is not one of them) To answer some of these questions, I am very sad when the campers pack up & head home. However, then I know that I have about 9 months to work on making the next summer even better than the one that I just finished! I love the thought of making Greystone better. Sometimes it means researching new program areas, sometimes it is getting a new "thing" at camp, sometimes it is finding the perfect morning assembly song & it is ALWAYS finding the VERY BEST staff members to be on the team! This year has been super busy. I have been traveling all over to find the best & the brightest! On this trip Sarah Goodman & I went to Chicago to a Camp Conference. We learned all kinds of new things. Check out our photos!
Have a great week!
Kelly
