CHRISTMAS AT THE GREYSTONE BARN
As many of you already know, Justine Tibbles & Kim Johnston are working at Greystone year-round. They live in the apartment above the barn & are running a year-round riding program. They do a marvelous job with the horses and add international flavor to they Greystone Family. I would like to tell you a fun Christmas story.
Kim is away for the holidays in her mother country of Scotland. However, she planned a great Christmas surprise for Justine as she is far away from her family during this special time. As you know, Justine is an animal lover. Aside from the many horses in her care, she has a dog & 3 cats (Chloé, Shilo, Dixie & Wayne) She barely ever walks away from the vet without a new addition to her flock.
On Christmas morning Justine opened a card left by Kim, it read "Since I can not be there for Christmas, I left you a friend in the paddock. Look out the window."
This is what she saw.
On a blustery winter morning I got Justine & Dameron to pose with the moose. What do you think she should name it? Email Justine.
Look how happy Justine is with her new friend!
I have more exciting Greystone Horse news. There is a horse from England preparing for a trip to Greystone. His name is Albert. He is an 8-year old Bay warmblood Gelding. He will be Kim's new event horse. He flies out of England on January 5th. We will keep his travels in our prayers. I can't imagine what a horse would think about flying. Talk about jetlag!
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all of you Greystone Girls out there!
